Khalil Shakir continues to be one of the more reliable players on the Bills roster and is leading the NFL in a surprising stat.

Buffalo Bills wide receiver Khalil Shakir leads the NFL in separation yards through the first four games of the season, according to data from Gridiron Stats and Info. Shakir is averaging roughly 4.5 yards of separation per route, edging out Miami Dolphins receiver Jaylen Waddle and Detroit Lions receiver Kalif Raymond, who are tied for second with 4.2 yards.
Writer Randy Gurzi argues that Shakir should be targeted more frequently in the Buffalo offense, noting he has 15 receptions on 23 targets while averaging 11.6 yards per catch heading into Week 5 against the Los Angeles Rams.
