The Carolina Panthers have officially ruled out four starters for their Week 9 matchup against the Denver Broncos. The sidelined players include outside linebacker Jaelan Phillips, guard Damien Lewis, linebacker Bobby Okereke, and cornerback Will Lee. The absences leave Carolina without three key defensive starters as well as their starting left guard.

Phillips is managing a lingering hamstring injury after appearing in five games and recording 2.5 sacks this season. Okereke, who joined Carolina in August and has registered 49 tackles across seven appearances, will miss the contest due to a foot injury.
