Veteran left tackle Rasheed Walker has left the Carolina Panthers with a benching call they can't keep delaying.

Writer Dean Jones argues that the Carolina Panthers must bench veteran left tackle Rasheed Walker following a poor performance in their loss to the Green Bay Packers. The defeat previously prompted the dismissals of defensive coordinator Ejiro Evero and pass-game coordinator Jonathan Cooley.
According to Jones, Walker's struggles in pass protection are endangering quarterback Bryce Young. Despite injuries to Ikem Ekwonu and Taylor Moton, Jones contends the Panthers should replace Walker by turning to options such as Brady Christensen, rookie Monroe Freeling, or Stone Forsythe.
