Veteran right tackle Taylor Moton’s expected return after the bye leaves the Carolina Panthers facing a major lineup decision.

The Carolina Panthers are reportedly hoping to welcome back starting right tackle Taylor Moton following their bye week. Moton has been sidelined on the physically unable to perform list since the offseason due to blood clots. With his return appearing closer, the team faces major offensive line decisions regarding who steps aside to accommodate the franchise cornerstone.
Cat Crave writer Dean Jones argues that rookie Monroe Freeling should move from right tackle to left tackle, which would demote free-agent signing Rasheed Walker to a backup role. Jones notes that while the Panthers have not officially confirmed a timeline, Moton's return will significantly boost the offense as injured players gradually rejoin the roster.
