Caleb Williams returned from a three-game absence Sunday and led the Chicago Bears to a 31-23 road victory over the Atlanta Falcons, then took a pointed shot at an ESPN studio show that had unanimously predicted an Atlanta win.
Chicago Bears quarterback Caleb Williams called out ESPN's "Get Up" analysts for unanimously picking against his team following a 31-23 victory over the Atlanta Falcons. Returning from a three-game hamstring injury absence, Williams completed 30 of 36 passes for 305 yards and one touchdown, setting a franchise record with an 83.3 percent completion rate as Chicago improved to 4-2.
The Bears established a 31-7 lead before holding off a fourth-quarter rally by Atlanta. D'Andre Swift contributed two rushing touchdowns, Colston Loveland caught a 14-yard touchdown pass, and cornerback Kyler Gordon recorded three sacks. Williams will continue to manage his hamstring on a short week ahead of Thursday's game against the New England Patriots.
