After the Chicago Bears' trade for Jeffery Simmons, there are still plenty of rumors flying around Ryan Poles' intentions and possible actions ahead of the deadline. We've got them all, here.
Following a blockbuster trade for defensive tackle Jeffery Simmons from the Tennessee Titans, Chicago Bears general manager Ryan Poles could target additional acquisitions ahead of the NFL trade deadline. With two first-round draft picks already moved, Ryan Heckman argues Chicago will likely restrict future deadline moves to Day 3 draft capital.
Heckman highlights potential targets to bolster the defense, such as edge rushers Khalil Mack and Shemar Stewart, alongside cornerbacks Donte Jackson, Nahshon Wright, and Riq Woolen. Rumors cited include The Athletic's Ted Nguyen projecting a reunion with Mack for a fifth-round selection, despite Sports Illustrated reporting the Los Angeles Chargers have resisted offers so far.
