The Chicago Bears and Khalil Mack reunion speculation grew stronger with new comments from a notable NFL insider.

NFL insider Jason La Canfora suggested that the Chicago Bears should pursue a reunion trade for Los Angeles Chargers pass rusher Khalil Mack. With Chicago sitting at 4-2, La Canfora argued that the Bears' defense lacks sufficient bite and could benefit from adding a familiar star before the November 10 trade deadline.
Mack is in the final year of his contract with the Chargers, who have started the season 0-6. Jason Burgos notes that a permanent trade sending a third-round draft pick to Los Angeles could potentially be enough to acquire the nine-time Pro Bowler.
