While Odeyingbo has drawn significant attention by recording three sacks in his first four games following an Achilles tear, Lambert argues that the 33-year-old Jarrett has also been vital by providing interior pressure, steady run defense, and veteran on-field communication.
Lambert notes that the Bears appear to be effectively managing Jarrett's workload by alternating between heavy and light snap counts each week. This approach has allowed Jarrett to register eight interior pressures and three run stops for zero or negative yards, supported by defensive coordinator Dennis Allen and depth additions such as Neville Gallimore and Kentavius Street.
