Atlanta Falcons head coach Kevin Stefanski stated he will know more Wednesday regarding quarterback Michael Penix's availability for Sunday's game against the Chicago Bears. Penix suffered a rib injury late in regulation during a 30-23 overtime loss to the Baltimore Ravens. Stefanski did not confirm on Monday whether imaging revealed any broken bones.
Penix attempted one pass after the injury before backup Tua Tagovailoa took over in overtime, throwing a game-ending interception. Meanwhile, the Bears face their own quarterback uncertainty, with Caleb Williams, Tyson Bagent, or Case Keenum potentially starting.
