The Story in 60 Seconds

Chicago Bears fan confidence remains strong at around 93 percent following a victory over the New England Patriots, according to Lester A. Wiltfong Jr. of Windy City Gridiron. With Chicago sitting at a 5-2 record, Wiltfong argues that supporters have plenty of reasons for optimism heading into a Monday night game against the Seattle Seahawks.

The Bears also recently traded for defensive tackle Jeffery Simmons from the Tennessee Titans to bolster their defensive front. Wiltfong notes that Simmons' arrival should ease pressure on Chicago's cornerbacks, including nickelback Kyler Gordon, ahead of their matchup with Seahawks receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba.
