The Cincinnati Bengals can talk all the good they want about Shemar Stewart, but until he plays and proves himself, it'll just feel like hot air.

Writer Matt Fitzgerald predicts that Cincinnati Bengals defensive end Shemar Stewart will be designated as a healthy scratch for Week 8 against the Tennessee Titans. Stewart, a 2025 first-round draft selection, previously sat out during Week 7's victory over the Baltimore Ravens.
Fitzgerald notes that Cincinnati's edge rusher depth—featuring Boye Mafe, Myles Murphy, Cashius Howell, and Cedric Johnson—has kept Stewart sidelined. Safety Kyle Dugger has already been ruled out due to a quad injury, while Myles Hinton, Jack Kiser, Connor Lew, and Landon Robinson are also projected to be inactive.
