Cincinnati Bengals tight end Tanner Hudson has suffered a pectoral tear and is expected to miss the remainder of the 2026 NFL season. Hudson's agent confirmed the injury, which was initially reported by Charlie Clifford and subsequently confirmed by ESPN's Ben Baby. The 31-year-old had recorded seven receptions for 33 yards and one touchdown in four appearances this season prior to getting injured.
Hudson's absence impacts Cincinnati's offensive depth as well as their special teams units, where he served as a regular contributor. The Bengals will rely on tight ends Mike Gesicki, Drew Sample, and Erick All moving forward, with roughly $8.4 million in salary cap space available if they decide to seek external reinforcements.
