Ja'Marr Chase is already one of the greatest wide receivers in Bengals history. In just 81 games now, he's shattered single-season records and is on pace to own Bengals career receiving records sooner than the legends who came before. From…

Drew Crabtree of Last Word On NFL reports that Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Ja'Marr Chase is closing in on several franchise receiving milestones heading into Week 9. Through 81 career games, Chase has reached 563 receptions, 7,329 receiving yards, and 60 receiving touchdowns. The receiver is positioned closest to breaking the franchise's career receiving touchdown record held by Chad Johnson.
Johnson currently holds the franchise touchdown record with 66, leaving Chase just seven scores away from establishing a new mark. Crabtree projects Chase could realistically break the touchdown record by the end of the 2026 season based on his current scoring pace. However, Johnson's career franchise records for total receptions and receiving yards remain longer-term targets projected around the 2028 season.
