With Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson out for Sunday’s game here at M&T Bank Stadium, the Bengals know they’re going to have to overthrow The King.

Cincinnati Bengals defensive tackle Jonathan Allen outlined the defensive approach needed to contain former Alabama teammate Derrick Henry ahead of Sunday's matchup against the Baltimore Ravens. With Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson sidelined by an ankle injury, Tyler Huntley will start, placing greater emphasis on Henry, who enters the game leading the NFL with 130 carries.
Allen emphasized dominating the line of scrimmage, disciplined tackling, and rallying multiple defenders to stop Henry before he reaches the second level. The Bengals defense, which has surrendered an average of 155 rushing yards over its past three games, aims to restrict Henry as he sits 111 yards shy of passing Jerome Bettis for eighth on the NFL's all-time rushing list.
