Bengals wide receivers coach Troy Walters backed up some of the greatest receiving duos in NFL history. Now he's coaching another entry.

Bengals wide receivers coach Troy Walters praised the historic potential of Cincinnati wideouts Ja'Marr Chase and Tee Higgins as the team prepares to face the Tennessee Titans. Walters, who previously played alongside Hall of Fame receiving duos such as Cris Carter, Randy Moss, Marvin Harrison Sr., and Reggie Wayne, highlighted the unique skill sets and off-field chemistry that position Chase and Higgins among elite company.
Statistically, Chase and Higgins posted 658 catches and 9,112 yards in their first four seasons together from 2021 to 2024, putting them on pace to challenge historic NFL records if projected through Higgins' contract running through 2028. Meanwhile, Cincinnati faces injury challenges, navigating season-ending tight end losses, while Tennessee manages defensive line injuries and adjustments following the trade of Jeffrey Simmons.
