Browns Get Unexpected Gift After Dramatic Ravens Win

The Cleveland Browns benefited from the Los Angeles Rams' 18-16 upset loss to the Arizona Cardinals following their own 13-10 win over the Baltimore Ravens. Because Cleveland acquired the Rams' 2027 first-round draft pick in the Myles Garrett trade, Los Angeles' fall to a 2-4 record elevated that projected selection to No. 10 overall. The Browns simultaneously moved into first place in the AFC North with their fourth victory of the season.

Meanwhile, Garrett remained sidelined after knee surgery, having not played for the Rams since the season opener. Cleveland's defense held the Ravens scoreless after falling behind 10-0, fueled by a Carson Schwesinger forced fumble against Derrick Henry that set up the tying touchdown. Browns head coach Todd Monken praised the defensive unit as Cleveland improved to 4-2 ahead of a Week 8 matchup with the Tennessee Titans.
