The Cleveland Browns have come a long way since Deshaun Watson's disastrous preseason press conference. Todd Monken explained.

Cleveland Browns coach Todd Monken revealed details of a candid conversation he had with quarterback Deshaun Watson following a preseason clash with Buffalo. Watson had publicly expressed frustration with home fans booing him, prompting Monken to ask Watson whether he was truly ready to move forward and handle further crowd hostility. Monken shared the details during an appearance on Ryan Clark's podcast, The Pivot.
Monken stated that he believed Watson successfully let go of the lingering tension, which dated back to his 2024 Achilles injury. Watson subsequently guided the Browns to a 4-2 record atop the AFC North, ultimately earning cheers from home supporters during a Week 4 victory against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
