The Cleveland Browns held workouts for four defensive backs on Friday, according to the NFL Transactions wire. The players evaluated by the team were Dontae Manning, Israel Mukuamu, Mekhi Rodgers, and Zelmar Vedder as Cleveland explores depth options in the secondary.
Mukuamu, a 25-year-old former sixth-round draft pick by the Dallas Cowboys in 2021, brings prior NFL regular-season experience to the group. He played in all 17 games for Dallas in 2024 before spending time with the Carolina Panthers and Pittsburgh Steelers.
