The Dallas Cowboys have not been known for spending heavily on their coaching ranks. Jerry Jones had some things to say about it.

Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones strongly rejected claims that he is too cheap to pay for top head coaches during an appearance on 105.3 The Fan. Addressing criticisms regarding head coach Brian Schottenheimer's reported compensation, Jones labeled the narrative ridiculous and pointed to his expensive business ventures, including drilling multi-million dollar oil wells.
Jones maintained that his coaching contracts emphasize performance-based incentives to drive success. Additionally, Jones revealed he has previously tried to lure accomplished coaches away from rival teams with lucrative offers, rejecting assertions that he is unwilling to spend money for the right leadership.
