Cowboys, Lions Issued Firm Trade Message on Raiders’ Maxx Crosby

The Dallas Cowboys and Detroit Lions have both been urged by former players to pursue a trade for Las Vegas Raiders edge rusher Maxx Crosby ahead of the November 10 deadline. Former NFL cornerback Aqib Talib pushed the Cowboys to go all-in by acquiring Crosby to revitalize their defense, while former offensive lineman Lomas Brown publicly called for Crosby to return to Michigan and pair up with Aidan Hutchinson on the Lions.

Despite the external recruitment messages, an actual trade appears unlikely. ESPN reporter Jeremy Fowler reported that Crosby does not want to be traded and wants to remain with the Raiders under offensive coordinator Klint Kubiak. Las Vegas would reportedly seek a massive trade package if they were to consider moving the star defensive player.
