If you’re taking the weekend off from the NFL after Thursday night’s debacle in Dallas, we don’t blame you. But for those who still want football in their lives this Sunday, and still care about the Cowboys’ prospects for 2026…
Jess Haynie of Blogging The Boys outlines which teams Dallas Cowboys fans should support in Week 5 of the 2026 NFL season to maximize their playoff chances. Following a Thursday night defeat that dropped Dallas to a 2-3 record, the guide emphasizes the necessity of favorable outcomes across the league, particularly rooting against division rivals Philadelphia and New York.
The writer argues Cowboys supporters should back the Jaguars over the Eagles in London and the Commanders over the Giants. In other key conference matchups, Haynie favors wins for the Packers, Saints, Cardinals, and 49ers to suppress potential Wild Card rivals, while also tracking draft pick positioning from the Steelers and Patriots.
