GREEN BAY, Wis. — Two first-half interceptions of Dak Prescott and a Green Bay offense that converted 9 of its 10 first-half third downs put the Dallas Cowboys in a 17-0 hole at halftime Sunday night, and the Green Bay…
Dallas Cowboys coach Brian Schottenheimer addressed his team's struggles following a 23-13 road defeat to the Green Bay Packers. The loss dropped Dallas to a 2-4 record after conceding a 17-0 first-half deficit fueled by two Dak Prescott interceptions and poor third-down defense. Schottenheimer emphasized that self-inflicted mistakes, turnovers, and the lack of an effective running game are currently undermining the team's effort.
Prescott completed 34 of 54 passes for 258 yards, one touchdown, and two interceptions while absorbing seven quarterback hits. Schottenheimer noted that falling behind early forced Dallas into an unsustainable pass-heavy approach against Green Bay's defense. The Cowboys also dealt with injuries to KaVontae Turpin and Dee Winters as they prepare to face the Philadelphia Eagles.
