Newly acquired Dallas Cowboys cornerback Joey Porter Jr. is expected to make his team debut in Week 4 against Houston, according to ESPN's Jeremy Fowler. The Cowboys plan to utilize Porter on a measured workload of roughly 30 defensive snaps as he integrates into the defense following an earlier back injury.
Dallas acquired Porter from the Pittsburgh Steelers in exchange for a 2027 sixth-round pick and a 2028 second-round pick. Porter joins an injured Dallas secondary that is missing Cobie Durant, and he could see coverage duties against Texans receiver Nico Collins.
