Despite the hopes of some Dallas Cowboys fans to make a trade for Maxx Crosby before the deadline, a new rumor puts those dreams to rest.

The Las Vegas Raiders have no intention of trading star pass rusher Maxx Crosby ahead of the NFL trade deadline, ending speculation linking him to the Dallas Cowboys. According to ESPN insider Adam Schefter, Crosby does not want to leave Las Vegas, and the Raiders have not engaged in trade discussions with any teams this season.
Dallas has struggled defensively heading into Week 8, ranking tied for last in the NFL with just seven team sacks and conceding nearly 26 points per game. Despite Crosby being a reported offseason target for the Cowboys, the 3-4 Raiders intend to keep the five-time Pro Bowler as they push for a Wild Card spot.
