“Extremely Crazy”: Cowboys Star Calls Out Skip Bayless for Saying He Wanted “Players to Be Executed” After Loss to Cardinals

Dallas Cowboys defensive tackle Quinnen Williams publicly criticized commentator Skip Bayless for saying he wanted players to be executed following Dallas' 33-30 overtime loss to the Arizona Cardinals. Williams posted on X, telling Bayless it was extremely crazy to make such comments about defensive players and urged him to do better. Bayless made the remarks on ESPN's First Take alongside Stephen A. Smith after expressing frustration with the Cowboys surrendering a 14-point fourth-quarter lead.

Bayless directed his criticism at Williams after the defensive tackle used variations of the word execute 32 times during a viral post-game press conference. Williams had stressed that the unit's fourth-quarter collapse was an issue of execution rather than scheme, while personally taking accountability for defensive breakdowns despite recording two sacks and seven tackles in the defeat.
