Philadelphia Eagles QB Jalen Hurts is out for Week 6 as the team evaluates how to move forward with scary injury.

Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts has been ruled out of Week 6 against the Carolina Panthers due to a blood clot, creating uncertainty for Week 7's matchup against the Dallas Cowboys. Hurts was initially cleared to play in London, but a follow-up ultrasound on Wednesday revealed movement in the small, superficial blood clot, prompting team doctors to sideline him.
Tanner McKee will start at quarterback for Philadelphia against the Panthers while medical staff evaluate an appropriate treatment course. The Eagles face the Cowboys on Monday Night Football on October 26, and Hurts' availability remains in serious doubt for the key NFC East clash.
