‘Start rebuilding…’ – Jerry Jones asked to make major decision about Dak Prescott and CeeDee Lamb

Former NFL cornerback Asante Samuel has urged Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones to initiate a complete rebuild following the team's disappointing 2-4 start to the season. Speaking on his Say What Needs to be Said podcast, the two-time Super Bowl champion suggested trading star wide receiver CeeDee Lamb for draft capital and moving on from quarterback Dak Prescott in the offseason.

Samuel argued that the Cowboys should acquire high draft picks, target a top quarterback in the upcoming draft, and also consider parting ways with Caleb Downs and George Pickens while rebuilding the defense around Joey Porter Jr. However, the report notes it remains highly unlikely Dallas will trade franchise cornerstones Prescott, Lamb, or Downs.
