Tampa Bay Buccaneers head coach Todd Bowles sparked health concerns after dropping to one knee while holding his midsection following a 24-16 victory against the Dallas Cowboys on Thursday Night Football. ESPN's Jenna Laine reported that Bowles is in good health and not experiencing a medical issue. Bowles explained that he was simply winded after taking an accidental celebratory helmet hit to the gut on the sideline.
The game concluded with Alex Anzalone intercepting a pass to seal Tampa Bay's first win of the season after starting 0-4. Undrafted rookie quarterback Jalon Daniels earned his first victory in his second career start, easing pressure on Bowles following the team's difficult early-season stretch.
