Denver Broncos get injury update on WR Jaylen Waddle for Chiefs game.

Denver Broncos wide receiver Jaylen Waddle is reportedly trending in the right direction to play in Sunday's Week 8 matchup against the Kansas City Chiefs. Waddle entered the game listed as questionable after aggravating a chest injury during a Week 7 victory over the Arizona Cardinals. According to reports from NFL Network's Ian Rapoport and ESPN's Adam Schefter, the receiver is expected to suit up for the key AFC West divisional clash.
Waddle suffered the injury late in the Cardinals game on a reverse play, a gadget call that head coach Sean Payton publicly called dumb and apologized for afterward. Despite dealing with performance struggles and drops, Waddle leads Denver with 276 receiving yards on 26 catches this season. His availability is critical for the 5-2 Broncos, especially with second-leading receiver RJ Harvey recently placed on injured reserve.
