Denver Broncos All-Pro cornerback Patrick Surtain is expected to return for Sunday's Week 8 matchup against the Kansas City Chiefs. Surtain has missed three consecutive games after sustaining a high ankle sprain in Week 4. His return comes as the 5-2 Broncos look to avoid a season sweep by their division rivals, who defeated Denver in Week 1.
Meanwhile, wide receiver Jaylen Waddle is reportedly trending toward playing despite aggravating a chest injury during Week 7. Waddle practiced in a limited capacity on Thursday, having recorded 26 receptions for 276 yards and one touchdown so far this season.
