The Denver Broncos placed running back RJ Harvey on injured reserve after he suffered a knee injury on Thursday.

The Denver Broncos placed running back RJ Harvey on short-term injured reserve on Saturday following a knee injury suffered in Thursday's practice. He is set to miss at least four games, although the injury is not considered season-ending. In corresponding roster moves, veteran safety Taylor Rapp was promoted to the active roster ahead of Sunday's matchup against the Kansas City Chiefs.
Denver also elevated running back Cody Schrader and offensive lineman Gavin Ortega to the game-day roster for added depth. The Broncos face several other injury concerns, including ruled-out safety Talanoa Hufanga, questionable safety Brandon Jones, and starting left tackle Garett Bolles.
