Lions head coach Dan Campbell shared the latest update on Cade Mays' game status against the Packers amid his return from a wrist injury…

Detroit Lions head coach Dan Campbell confirmed that center Cade Mays is expected to make his team debut against the Green Bay Packers this Sunday. Speaking on 97.1 The Ticket, Campbell stated that Detroit does not plan to rotate Mays with backup Juice Scruggs. Mays had missed the first five games of the season on injured reserve due to a wrist injury suffered in August.
Mays signed a three-year, $25 million contract with the Lions in the offseason after previously playing for the Carolina Panthers. In his absence, Scruggs started all five games at center, earning an 83.8 PFF run-blocking grade. Despite Scruggs' strong performances, Campbell confirmed the Lions intend to give Mays the start without rotating at the position.
