Miami Dolphins head coach Jeff Hafley gave an emotional reaction after earning his first NFL victory with a 28-25 win over the New York Jets at MetLife Stadium. The victory ended Miami's five-game losing streak to start the season. In postgame comments, Hafley praised his squad for their dedication through early struggles and recounted players showering him with water during locker room celebrations.
Quarterback Malik Willis led the offense with two passing touchdowns and one rushing score, while totaling 208 passing yards. Rookie receiver Caleb Douglas hauled in both touchdown passes, including a key 63-yard reception in the fourth quarter.
