Joe Milton III will reportedly start at quarterback for the Philadelphia Eagles against the New York Giants, replacing Tanner McKee.

The Philadelphia Eagles are naming Joe Milton III as their starting quarterback for Sunday's matchup against the New York Giants. Milton replaces Tanner McKee, who went 0-3 as the starter following a season-ending injury to Jalen Hurts. Milton will become the fourth quarterback to throw a pass for Philadelphia this season after being signed from the Dallas Cowboys' practice squad less than a month ago.
The quarterback change comes as the Eagles attempt to break a six-game losing streak that dropped their record to 2-6. McKee took over in Week 6 after Hurts was sidelined by blood clots in his lungs. Milton, a 2024 sixth-round draft pick originally selected by the New England Patriots, brings mobility and arm strength to an offense looking to revitalize its run game.
