The Philadelphia Eagles have received another discouraging injury update on DeVonta Smith ahead of their Week 8 action.

Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver DeVonta Smith is expected to miss Week 8 after being absent from practice again on Friday due to a lingering hamstring injury. Smith did not participate in practice on Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday. NFL Network reporter Mike Garafolo noted that Smith remained sidelined during the team's final practice session of the week.
Smith has already missed three of Philadelphia's last four games while managing the hamstring issue. In contrast, running back Saquon Barkley was seen practicing during the media-access portion of Friday's session as the Eagles prepare to face the Washington Commanders on Sunday Night Football.
