Falcons QB Michael Penix Jr. and wife expecting first child together: ‘Upgraded’

Atlanta Falcons quarterback Michael Penix Jr. and his wife, Olivia, announced on Saturday that they are expecting their first child together. The couple shared the news in an Instagram video showing a picnic featuring ultrasounds of their unborn baby, accompanied by the caption "Upgraded to mom and dad." The pair originally met in college and married at a Georgia resort in May.

The announcement comes shortly after the 26-year-old quarterback returned from a torn ACL suffered last season. In his first game back after a 10-month absence, Penix threw for 256 yards, one touchdown, and an interception during Atlanta's 35-14 Week 3 victory over the Green Bay Packers.
