5 things to know about new Packers OL Laken Tomlinson

The Green Bay Packers have signed 11-year NFL veteran offensive lineman Laken Tomlinson in response to mounting injuries on their offensive line. The 34-year-old guard has appeared in 180 total games with 169 starts throughout his career across stints with Detroit, San Francisco, the New York Jets, Seattle, and Houston.

Tomlinson reunites with Packers offensive coordinator Adam Stenavich and several assistant coaches from his time with the 49ers. He has never missed an NFL game due to injury across his 11 seasons, previously playing in 141 consecutive regular-season games before a recent stint on the Dallas Cowboys practice squad.
