Hall of Fame defensive end Reggie White takes the title of the greatest Green Bay Packers player to wear No. 92.

In an ongoing retrospective series for Lombardi Ave, writer Luke Norris selects Hall of Fame defensive end Reggie White as the greatest player to wear No. 92 for the Green Bay Packers. White, whose jersey is one of only six officially retired by the franchise, spent six seasons in Green Bay from 1993 to 1998 after signing a landmark four-year, $17 million free-agent deal.
White recorded 68.5 of his 198.0 career sacks with the Packers, helping lead the team to a victory in Super Bowl 31 over the New England Patriots. His career sack total ranks second in NFL history behind Bruce Smith, and his jersey was formally retired by Green Bay in 2005.
