JOHN Harbaugh couldn't control himself after his New York Giants stunned the Houston Texans with a road overtime win. The Giants head coach was spotted tackling his own player as they upset the Texans, 27-21, on Sunday. With the score…
New York Giants head coach John Harbaugh tackled his own running back Devin Singletary in celebration after an overtime upset victory against the Houston Texans. Singletary scored on a 30-yard rushing touchdown to seal the 27-21 win following a 42-yard run by Cam Skattebo. The rest of the team quickly surrounded the coach and player to celebrate on the field.
The strong rushing display followed Harbaugh publicly criticizing his running back group after a previous defeat to the New Orleans Saints. Skattebo compiled 124 rushing yards and a touchdown on 17 carries, while quarterback J.J. McCarthy completed 20 of 28 passes for 252 yards to secure his first victory as starter.
