The Houston Texans continue refining their defensive roster with a focus on identifying the most effective mix of experience and potential as the regular season advances.
The Houston Texans are releasing rookie linebacker Aiden Fisher and placing him on waivers, according to NFL insider Jordan Schultz. The roster move opens an active spot as the 1-4 Texans prepare to travel to London for a matchup against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Fisher was selected by Houston with the 243rd overall pick in the seventh round after winning a national championship with Indiana. Through the first five games of the regular season, he saw limited playing time and recorded just one tackle.
