The NFL has taken action against multiple players, including Houston Texans cornerback Ja’Marcus Ingram, in its weekly sweep.

The NFL issued fines to three players following infractions committed during the Houston Texans' Week 7 loss to the New York Giants. Texans secondary members Ja'Marcus Ingram and M.J. Stewart received fines totaling $18,028. Ingram received a $6,361 fine for a second-quarter unnecessary roughness late hit on kickoff coverage, while Stewart was fined $11,667 for an unflagged fourth-quarter hip-drop tackle.
Stewart's infraction places him under stricter scrutiny, as two additional hip-drop tackle offenses could trigger a one-game suspension under revised league guidelines. Additionally, Giants running back Cam Skattebo was fined $7,073 for unnecessary roughness regarding the illegal use of his helmet during the contest.
