The Houston Texans announced four roster transactions, highlighted by the signing of defensive tackle Naquan Jones to their active roster off the San Francisco 49ers' practice squad. To make room for Jones on the active roster, the Texans waived defensive tackle Jaden Crumedy.
In additional roster adjustments, Houston signed running back Joshua Pitsenberger to their practice squad while releasing running back Deuce Vaughn. Jones, a 28-year-old undrafted free agent from Michigan State in 2021, previously spent time with Houston and appeared in three games for San Francisco earlier in 2026.
