The Houston Texans welcomed Azeez Al-Shaair and others back to practice amid an extensive list of updates.

Houston Texans team captain and linebacker Azeez Al-Shaair returned to practice on Wednesday ahead of the team's matchup against the New York Giants. Al-Shaair was a limited participant due to a knee injury after sitting out earlier in the week. Offensive tackle Trent Brown and tight end Dalton Schultz also returned to practice for Houston.
While several key starters returned, the Texans continue to deal with significant absences. Running back David Montgomery, safety Jalen Pitre, and safety Reed Blankenship did not practice on Thursday and are all expected to miss the upcoming game against the Giants.
