The Houston Texans have officially ruled out running back David Montgomery and safety Jalen Pitre for their Week 6 game against the Jacksonville Jaguars in London. Wide receiver Tank Dell was also ruled out as he remains in his 21-day practice window after being designated to return from injured reserve. Head coach DeMeco Ryans confirmed that Montgomery is week-to-week after sustaining a groin injury in Week 5 against the Tennessee Titans.
With Montgomery sidelined, running back Woody Marks is poised to take over primary rushing duties for Houston. Montgomery, who joined the Texans via a trade from the Detroit Lions in exchange for offensive lineman Juice Scruggs and draft picks, has recorded 138 rushing yards and three total touchdowns across five games this season.
