The Indianapolis Colts get good news on wide receiver Josh Downs after the team parted ways with Darius Slayton

The Indianapolis Colts released wide receiver Darius Slayton after he missed time due to a knee injury without playing a game. Shortly after the roster move, the team received a major boost ahead of their Week 6 game against the Tennessee Titans as wide receiver Josh Downs logged two consecutive full practice sessions. Downs appears fully healthy and ready to lead the receiving corps.
Downs currently leads the Colts with 249 receiving yards on 20 receptions through five games this season. His return comes as Indianapolis ruled out linebacker Jaylon Carlies and wide receiver Ashton Dulin, while tight end Tyler Warren is questionable with a groin injury.
