The Jonathan Taylor saga might be getting started now. The Indianapolis Colts entered the season with high expectations after Daniel Jones returned from injury, and Alec Pierce signed a new contract.
Indianapolis Colts running back Jonathan Taylor has emerged as a potential trade candidate following the dismissal of general manager Chris Ballard. According to ESPN reporter Stephen Holder, multiple NFL teams are open to exploring a trade for the 27-year-old running back ahead of the upcoming November 10 trade deadline, as the 2-4 Colts evaluate their franchise direction under a restructured front office.
Ballard previously drafted Taylor in 2020 and signed him to a three-year contract extension in August. Through the early portion of the season, Taylor has recorded 492 rushing yards and seven touchdowns on 122 carries, with potential interest linked to teams such as the Seattle Seahawks, New York Giants, and Houston Texans.
