Tipton’s Zane Durham is blossoming into a two-way threat

Tipton High School junior running back and linebacker Zane Durham delivered a record-setting performance during a 69-14 victory at Benton Central on September 18. Durham rushed 11 times for a school-record 348 yards and seven touchdowns, while adding a 54-yard touchdown reception for an eighth total score. On defense, he chipped in seven tackles, one tackle for loss, and a fumble recovery.

According to MaxPreps, Durham ranks among Indiana's rushing leaders with 952 yards and 16 touchdowns on 83 carries. Tipton head coach Aaron Tolle praised the 6-foot-2, 200-pound athlete for his size, speed, and coachability. Defensively, Durham has also tallied 27 tackles, one sack, two fumble recoveries, two forced fumbles, and an interception this season.
