Zionsville’s Kellen Riddle has become a big hit on the gridiron

Zionsville High School junior linebacker Kellen Riddle has emerged as a defensive standout during the 2026 season. The 5-foot-9, 190-pound team captain leads the Eagles with 72 total tackles, including two tackles for loss and a fumble recovery, while averaging eight stops per contest. His physical play has helped guide Zionsville to a 7-2 record, securing the football program's first winning campaign since the 2021 season.

Head coach Scott Turnquist praised Riddle's exceptional work ethic, film preparation, and vocal leadership on the field. Riddle, who also competes in baseball and swimming, credits his multi-sport background with enhancing his conditioning and stamina. The No. 12-ranked Eagles next face undefeated top-ranked Brownsburg on October 30 in the Class 6A Sectional 5 semifinal round.
