Harrison never reached his potential in Arizona, but all sides are hoping for a fresh start moving forward.

The Arizona Cardinals traded wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. and a 2027 sixth-round draft pick to the Houston Texans in exchange for second- and seventh-round picks next year. The move concluded Harrison's tenure in Arizona after just two seasons and four games, following mounting frustration over his role and the team's quarterback situation.
Harrison hired agents Todd France and Tory Dandy in late September to quietly seek a trade after recording only five receptions through Arizona's first four games. The former fourth overall pick has since debuted for Houston, reuniting with former Ohio State teammate C.J. Stroud during a 34-31 victory against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
