Injuries across the Cincinnati Bengals' roster have created significant tactical advantages for the Jacksonville Jaguars ahead of their Week 4 matchup. The Bengals placed starting slot cornerback Jalen Davis on Injured Reserve with a hamstring injury, forcing defensive coordinator Al Golden to move outside corner Dax Hill inside. This shift leaves outside cornerback duties to backups DJ Ivey or rookie Tacario Davis against Jacksonville's healthy receiving group.
Cincinnati also faces major offensive absences, with receivers Andrei Iosivas on Injured Reserve and Colbie Young dealing with a knee issue. Additionally, starting right guard Dalton Risner missed consecutive practices with a knee injury. Meanwhile, Jacksonville enters the road game relatively healthy, positioning the Jaguars to capitalize on Cincinnati's depleted depth.
